One of the key things I take a lot of time over is getting to know my Clients. What makes them tick, what makes them giggle, what makes them feel comfortable. And then we start the process with concept boards and a lot of tea or coffee! Brand photo shoots are not just a quick in and out with a camera.
They take a lot of planning to make sure that the finished result is just right. To ensure that the Client looks right for their business and most importantly looks like they do in real life. Heck we’ve all seen pictures online of business owners and then met them in real life only to realise the photograph was taken 15+ years ago! What is that all about?
I really enjoyed working with Helen on this brand photo shoot. We were able to use one of the homes she has created a bespoke interior design for (thank you homeowners!) and so you can see her in her design environment. It all works perfectly.
We also factored into the shoot images of Helen at work. Doing what she does best and illustrating through imagery the work and life of an interior designer. We also incorporated some concept board flat lays to add a further complimentary layer to the imagery.
