“Collaborating with Nikki was a seamless experience as she seemed to anticipate my needs enabling me to operate autonomously and effectively during the preparation process without requiring continuous oversight. This approach yielded positive results, resulting in the creation of exceptional food photography.”
Charles Smith, Head Chef at Lords of the Manor
Recently I was commissioned for the fourth time to take imagery of the exquisite food at Lords of the Manor hotel. As the menus change as the years roll by, updating the imagery for their website and social media accounts is critical.
As before I set up a mini on site studio a few yards from the kitchens so we could photograph the food as it would look when it was served to guests. Incredibly fresh and looking like beautiful works of art.
The culinary genius behind these creations is Head Chef Charles Smith who you may well recognise from the Hairy Bikers episode in the Cotswolds. Scroll down to the end for the link.
The work Charles does behind the scenes in order that guests are served the most exceptional food in the most elegant of environments is above and beyond. Everything has to be perfect. Everything has to taste fresh and give the diner the most incredible taste sensations.
They say that you eat with your eyes. An interesting turn of phrase but one that makes absolute sense. The visual element of food one could argue is as important as the taste. The food Charles and his team create for guests at Lords of the Manor are masterpieces in their own right.
