Did you know that this week is National Curry Week!
Since the 1970’s, curry houses have become a staple of highstreets up and down the Uk with millions of curries are consumed every single week. Us Brits have a lifetime love affair with curries that’s showing no sign of stopping any time soon!
The very first National Curry Week took place way back in the autumn of 1998. The late Peter Grove founded National Curry Week. As a prominent journalist who had fallen in love with curry, his core vision was to generate awareness and appreciation of the then burgeoning Indian restaurant industry in the UK whilst also raising funds for charity.
Where’s your favourite curry restaurant? Our absolute fave ever is The Nepalese Chef in Gloucester!
