Halloween and bonfire night have both been and gone in a flash and already in our quiet part of this historical city I call home, the Christmas lights are going up. And I for one love this!
2022 has been a year of ups and downs and Christmas is something we all need in more ways than one. I flipping love Christmas! I love the prep, the planning, the wrapping and giving. The putting up of the Christmas trees (yes plural!) and decorating the house. If it wasn’t always so wet underfoot I’d decorate the garden as well! The smell of mulled wine gently simmering away on the stove top and the shimmering sparkling magic and goodwill that seems to envelop everything and everyone.
And when you’re running a business Christmas is the busiest of times. You have so little time and yet there is so much to do. It can feel overwhelming as all the tasks build up. And quite frankly the state of the economy isn’t helping either!
