So Covid came and went. But when the pandemic hit the world we were right in the middle of photographing all of the interiors for Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter! And so we had to down tools (or cameras) and wait it out.
As soon as restrictions were lifted we were back. Cameras and lighting in hand, ready to finish what we had started in 2022.

Lords of the Manor is a luxury, country manor house hotel that is located in the pretty village of Upper Slaughter in Gloucestershire. And for those of you who haven’t discovered this luxury gem of a bolthole in the Cotswolds, its one of those remarkable places that confirms that you are staying somewhere very, very special, and yet you feel completely at home.
They are also dog friendly and love welcoming four-legged guests along with their owners!
I’ve worked with the Team at Lords of the Manor for many years now and I love how our working relationship has grown over time. Its a relationship founded on mutual understanding and trust. I am incredibly grateful for the trust they put in my and my work.
The remainder of the bedrooms were the final spaces that needed to be photographed. It was great to be back!
“We have worked with Nikki previously when we refurbished our ground floor public areas in 2019. So having someone who knows and loves the hotel as we do is such a bonus!
We know she will always deliver the best content, and we wanted the continuity in style for our new imagery. Our advice? Always work with Nikki!”
Louise King, Marketing Manager, Lords of the Manor
In addition to the luxury of the public spaces and private sanctuaries of the bedrooms, they offer a choice of two restaurants for their guests. Fine dining restaurant ‘Atrium’ and their more casual a la carte restaurant; The Dining Room.
And of course they serve afternoon tea!
